Arrival!

Hello all, and welcome to the world of blogging. My hope for this blog is to be able to share some of my experiences, throughout these next two months, with you. I hope you enjoy my posting and thank you all for being a part of this spiritual and cultural journey of mine. Feel free to comment whenever you would like to, as I would love to hear from all of you.
So, I arrived safely in Hungary on Tuesday at noon, after previously spending 14 hours in airports and on a plane. My flight was long and exahausting, but due to 13 hours of sleep that night I was fully rested and rid of any signs of jet lag.
I have already spent many hours walking and touring Budapest with Judit, my host sister. My body and feet are wiped out by the end of the day, but I love being able to see and experience the incredible buildings and architecture of Budapest. Overall I am thrilled to be here and can't wait to be able to share more and more about what I learn and experience here with you all.
Love,
Emily

  2. I'm glad you arrived safely. I had terrible jet lag my first day in Paris and my sleep patterns were off a bit for the following week. I'm glad you got a lot of rest and are enjoying the city! Have fun, I'll be following closely.
