After spending one night in Budapest we left the next day for a week in Balatonfüred; a town that was once our home 10 years ago. This week was full of reliving memories and reuniting with friends we have known most of our lives. Below are some pictures of what we did....
We went to our good friend Ida's last piano concert. She easily gave the best performance!
We spent some time on the beach
...and went water skiing (vizisizni). **That's me**
Erica and I have grown up knowing the Olah family (three children are not pictured here). We were so blessed to spend much of our week together with them experiencing their everyday life, taking a road trip to show Erica how the pumpkin seed oil is made, visiting their church and school, biking along the Balaton with Bence (pictured above) and eating A LOT!
After an incredible week we had to say goodbye once again and head back to Budapest. In the train station while dining in a restaurant (designed like a train)...
we got a little carried away with taking super close up photos of each other's faces...
which then just turned weird!
After arriving in Budapest we spent the next week with our dear friends (or family) the Kantors!
It has been so long since all three of us have been together as sisters again...! Therefore we had to spend some quality time together. So we went to a concert...
were on a boat...
flew...
and walked around town!
I am so sad that our time in Hungary has come to a close, but we are happy to be reunited with our parents in Italy. It has been a long time since we were all together!
More to come on our Italian adventure....
So long Hungary (for this week)!
Emily
Extra Fun!
While spending time at the Kantor's countryside house, we went grocery shopping and stumbled upon this store's collection of oil! Holy Canola!
Erica and I played Rat-a-Tat-Cat and we ended up with the same cards in the same order...TWICE.
And....we tried a cow's bone marrow!! Surprisingly delicious.
I ate my first gluten free McDonald's burger. I was excited!
