Ria Ria, Hungária

The title of this blog refers to one of the many cheers used during the Hungarian-Greece soccer game we attended tonight. The ticket to this game was a birthday gift from Judit's parents, Tamás and Ágota. Even though the game ended with a tie of 0 - 0, I had an absolutely fabulous time. I love the atmosphere of sporting events and cheering on a country that I love with people that I love.

Funny Story of the Night: Judit and I overheard the three guys sitting in front of us complaining about how "old women" come to these games after seeing us sit down. Not sure how that works exactly...and bit confused as to why they would consider us old, but we just chose to ignore it.

Favorite Aspect of the Game: At the end of the game, as the fans cheered for the team, the Hungarian players and coach walked around the field applauding and thanking the fans for their contribution during the game. What a fantastic way to treat one another!
